For the past three years Kraft has made October the month where Ketchup transforms into “Tomato Blood”, but this was their first time marketing with TVC and social. W+K had the brilliant idea to make a story focused around a Vegetarian Vampire who loves humans and human culture, and subsists entirely on Ketchup. W+K as usual was so welcoming and collaborative and completely embraced my idea for a What We Do In The Shadows homage. Like most of my recent work, there’s a heavy press for social as well, with an emphasis on TikTok. I was able to bring in EJ Marcus, a creator I’ve loved for some time, who absolutely killed their audition and fit the role of Toby like a glove. In addition to our main video we also devises and produced fourteen TikToks to roll out across the month of October.

In addition to mostly nice comments online, the campaign has also garnered some lovely press and a some award-show hardware.
