Netflix by Bots

Part of my ongoing work with Netflix, I pitched this concept to use AI to animate my old friend Keaton Patti’s bot scripts (he has a book of them, you should buy it, it’s great). Working with a team across the world, I devised a system to animate faithfully to Keaton’s script, word for word, and to use real audio captured by talent to create text-to-speech algorithms for the performances. It’s a freakish blend of technology and comedy, and the result is wonderfully unsettling.
